Non-Compliant Bodies

Academic Conference In Spring 2018, Sanders convened Noncompliant Bodies: Social Equity & Public Space, a conference at Yale School of Architecture which assembled a cross-disciplinary group of designers and scholars and featured a full panel dedicated to the Museum. The panel examined how designers working in collaboration with experts can critique and transform the building type. Panelists proposed alternative futures, rethinking the relationship between bodies and built environments in ways that better serve the goals of social equity.
